The Big Rapids Department of Public Safety Police Division is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer. You must have two years of credits from an accredited college or university, have completed an MCOLES approved police academy and be MCOLES licensed/licensable, and be at least 21 years old. We offer competitive wages and compensation for lateral transfers with three or more years of law enforcement experience.
Candidates may submit a resume and cover letter and complete the City of Big Rapids application on the City’s website, www.cityofbr.org. Candidates will participate in a multi-phase hiring process including, but not limited to, a written test, oral interview, ride a long, and background investigation.
