FOIA Request Sent to Newaygo County Election Division Regarding Voting Machines Testing Report on October 30, 2024

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Newaygo County Election Division on October 30, 2024. The request, filed by West Central Michigan News, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, sought detailed information about the pre-election testing of voting machines.

The specific details requested include the test date, machine manufacturer, machine model number, and the status of each machine - whether it passed or failed in the pre-election test. This information was requested in a PDF format for ease of review and dissemination.
