On Saturday, February 04, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, the Coldwater Main Street Program will host a new event in Downtown Coldwater. Love Local is set to be an exciting valentines themed event featuring a soup and chili cook-off, downtown deals, live music, a photo booth, a card-making station, and more! Aimed at showing love to local businesses and helping community members get prepared for Valentine’s Day, this event is FREE to the public (excluding tasting of the soup and chili offerings; tasting tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased here).
“We’re excited to bring some familiar activities back to Downtown Coldwater and create a new event that can be enjoyed by anyone,” said Audrey Tappenden, Director of the Coldwater Main Street Program. “We have activities for kids, and we have activities for adults.”
Guests will be able to enjoy live piano music at Museum Gallery, make valentine’s cards at the Hope Café, create unique bookmarks at the library, pop into a photo booth, and vote for their favorite storefront window decorations, Those who are interested in the soup and chili cook-off are encouraged to purchase a $5 ticket ahead of time. Tickets will also be available for purchase day of at Blush & Ivory Bridal Company.
