City of Big Rapids recently issued the following announcement.

City of Big Rapids
Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier Improvements
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Big Rapids, located at 226 N. Michigan Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307 until 2:00 p.m. local time, March 28, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Items of work include recoating the interior and exterior troughs of both clarifiers including surface preparation, concrete repair, and application of specified coatings. The project also includes replacing tank pressure relief valves and all related work.

Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to be a Plan Holder of Record Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office.
Bidding Documents are available to be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge.
The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
