Grant Area District Library recently issued the following announcement.
Raising Readers Literacy Kits!
We have brand new kits that focus on fluency, comprehension, phonics, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary for grades K-3. The kits are ready for parents to use with their children to help with reading skills. In addition, we have some preschool kits to help with numbers, shapes, opposites, and colors. We are working on finishing some of the kits, but many are available to check out now.
The kits have various items such as: games, flashcards, puzzles, books, and more to reinforce skills in a fun way. The kits are available to check out for 3 weeks at a time. The kits were made possible from a grant from Youth Advisory Committee.
