This Thursday's glimpse: Ancient Africa
"Africa is woven into the very fabric of America. This presentation takes us from the beginning of humanity in ancient Africa, through the outward migration of Africans to other continents. It includes a discussion of the development of sciences such as, metallurgy, and explores the establishment of early educational institutions. It will close with a discussion about the arrival of Europeans to the African continent and the dramatic changes caused by the transatlantic slave trade."
