City of Ludington issued the following announcement on Oct 5.
PUBLIC NOTICE - CITY OF LUDINGTON 2021 FALL LEAF PICKUP GUIDELINES
Curbside leaves will be picked up starting mid-October and will continue until the first heavy snowfall (actual end dates are weather dependent and based on amount/duration of leaf fall and the amount/duration of snowfall). City residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of the street, making sure that the leaf piles do not impede traffic. Keep leaves in a row, do not place behind mailboxes or trees or areas that equipment cannot reach. Do not place limbs or brush in leaf piles (place brush in separate piles in the right-of-way and call 231-845-2873 for brush pick up). Please park cars off the street when leaf piles are in the area. The Leaf Corral, (for drop off of leaves only), is located on Bryant Rd. off Beechwood and will be open Saturdays only, 1pm to 5pm, beginning October 16 roughly through the first snow fall.
