City of Big Rapids recently issued the following announcement.
Be aware that there will be additional road closures coming up next week near the intersection of Colburn and S. Third Ave. as water mains get replaced and construction is completed.
S Dekrafft Ave, Gilbertson Ave, Pemberton Ave, and S. Bronson Ave (from the North) will all remain closed to Colburn Ave.
S Third Ave will remain open, though traffic may be slowed or stopped at times for short durations. S Third Ave will also have temporary lane reductions to two or one lane.
S Bronson Ave (from the South) will remain open to Colburn Ave.
If possible, please seek an alternate route. Construction is slated to be completed by Friday, October 15th.
