City of Scottville issued the following announcement on Sept 11.
Residents and property owners are reminded that city owned parking lots are not intended for long term parking or storage. Long term vehicle parking permits -- for downtown residents only -- must be obtained from city hall. The long term parking of trailers and other equipment is not allowed.
In preparation of Saturday's Fall Celebration, the Scottville Police Department placed notices on all overnight vehicles and other equipment in the city's East Parking Lot that vehicles and trailers will be towed at the owner's expense.
Anyone whose vehicle was impacted by this order should contact Scottville Police Department to make recovery arrangements.
