CMU basketball radio show returns with coaches' insights at Soaring Eagle Casino

Fans of Central Michigan basketball will have the opportunity to gain insights into the men's and women's programs through a radio show announced by CMU Athletics and Central Michigan Sports Properties. The show, presented by Fabiano Brothers, will feature interviews with men's coach Tony Barbee and women's coach Kristen Haynie.

The broadcasts will be held at the Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino. The first session is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2024. Attendance is free. Those unable to attend can listen live via the Varsity Sports Network or the CMU Athletics app.

Adam Jaksa, known as the Voice of the Chippewas, will host the program. Both coaches are expected to discuss their teams' strategies, analyze upcoming opponents, and review past performances.

Kristen Haynie's interview segment is set from 7-7:30 p.m., followed by Tony Barbee from 7:30-8 p.m.

The schedule for the monthly four-show series during the 2024-25 season includes:

- Thursday, December 12

- Thursday, January 16

- Thursday, February 6

- Thursday, March 6

All shows occur at Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge in Soaring Eagle Casino.
