Central Michigan University announces new athletic signees on National Signing Day

Today marks National Signing Day for most NCAA Division I sports, and Central Michigan University (CMU) is actively announcing its new signees. The university is updating its roster throughout the day as student-athletes sign their National Letter of Intent.

Fans can follow updates on CMU's official social media channels and use hashtags #NSD2024 and #fireupchips to engage in the conversation. The signing period for several sports extends until August 1, 2025, while football's signing period is set for December 4-6, 2024.

Among the signees announced so far are Luke Neiswonger from Fort Wayne, Indiana, joining the baseball team as a right-handed pitcher/infielder. In lacrosse, Mia Bradley from Orchard Park, New York; Riley Cooper from Frisco, Texas; Sara Marshburn and Sofia Marshburn from Peachtree, Georgia; Francie Ryan from Evanston, Illinois; Abby Schoener from Frisco, Texas; and Izzy Watson from East Lansing, Michigan have signed up.

For softball, Ella Leugge from Vicksburg, Michigan; Breeyen Salts from Grass Lake, Michigan; and Aubrey Strelow from Kenosha, Wisconsin have been added to the roster. Volleyball recruits include Molly Beatty from Indianapolis, Indiana; Taylor Cripe from Goodland, Indiana; and Lilly Mullholand from Pemberville, Ohio.

Updates will continue throughout the day as more athletes finalize their commitments to Central Michigan University.
