Central Michigan University's senior athletes, Abbey Tolmie and Nick Dardas, were celebrated at the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Honors Dinner Ceremony in Cleveland. The event took place at the Marriott Downtown Key Tower and was part of the annual MAC spring meetings.

The ceremony recognizes various achievements within the league, presenting awards for top men's and women's athletic programs, the Trailblazer Award, and an institutional sportsmanship award. The MAC Medal of Excellence Awards, received by Tolmie and Dardas, were announced earlier on May 24.

The Medal of Excellence is awarded annually to one male and one female student-athlete from each of the 12 MAC institutions. To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and demonstrate excellence in athletics, leadership, as well as campus and community service.

Attendees at the dinner included family and friends of Tolmie and Dardas along with CMU President Robert Davies, Zyzelewski Athletic Director Amy Folan, and Deputy Athletic Director Tangela Cheatham.
