Central Michigan University (CMU) is set to host its annual Toilet Paper Toss event during the men's basketball game against Western Michigan. The event will take place at McGuirk Arena on Saturday evening, with the game starting at 7:02 p.m. This year marks the second consecutive year for this tradition.
Fans attending are encouraged to arrive early, as the Toilet Paper Toss will happen before the game, around 6:48 p.m. The National Anthem is scheduled for 6:40 p.m., followed by player introductions. A Central Michigan player will perform a dunk, signaling fans to throw toilet paper onto the court in a reenactment of past events.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and toilet paper rolls will be distributed at entrances. With a White-Out theme for the game, attendees are urged to wear white shirts, while students can don their Snake Pit t-shirts. Additional items such as white pompoms and rally towels will also be available. The first 200 students through the gates receive a free dinner from Buffalo Wild Wings.
Tickets remain available for both games; purchasing a ticket for the men's game grants free entry to the women's game against Kent State earlier that day at 1 p.m. General admission tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for youth/seniors. Upper Club Lounge tickets include seating and food options at $65 each.
Student tickets are complimentary but require claiming through CMU's Athletics app via the Maroon & Gold Rewards program.
Parking lots open at different times throughout the day, with advance parking available for $10 by contacting CMU's Ticket Office.
The event sponsor is MyMichiganHealth.
