Census Bureau: 77.5 percent of people in Newaygo County were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 48,687 citizens living in Newaygo County in 2020, 37,749 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 18,880 of those people were female and 18,869 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
