A few quick announcements for the upcoming week

A few quick announcements for the upcoming week:

Our donation fundraiser wrapped up on August 19th and it was quite successful! Many students were able to raise a considerable amount of money to go towards their trip this Spring! In total, we raised $2,325.

Speaking of our spring Cleveland/Cedar Point trip - an informational meeting for that will be held in the band room on Monday, September 12th at 7:00pm. Parents and students are encouraged to attend!

Today we are also kicking off our annual band apparel fundraiser! Below will be a link to our online apparel store. The best way to spread awareness for this fundraiser is to spread this link on social media. It will also be on the band's Facebook page. The funds raised for this will also go towards our Cleveland/Cedar Point trip. This online store will be active through September 19th.

Our first home football game that the HS band will perform at is Friday, September 9th at 7:00pm. Home varsity football games are required performances for all members of the Pirate Marching Band and will count towards your grade. Please communicate with me ahead of time if you will be out of town. The call time for the band will be 4:30pm in the band room as we will have a brief rehearsal before the game. Students will be dismissed after the game is over - usually games end around 9:30pm.
