NOMINATING PETITIONS
Nominating petitions are now available in the City Clerk's Office for two City Council positions. Terms of the office for the City Council are four years. All nominating petitions for the City Council to be elected at the Election on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, must be filed with the City Clerk, 7 South Monroe Street, Rockford, no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Interested persons must be registered voters of the City and must be residents for at least one year to be eligible to serve on the City Council.
