City of Montague will be starting a curb repair project on Ferry Street

The City of Montague will be starting a curb repair project on Ferry Street the week of May 9th.  The project will impact parking  along the east side of the road in front of Lipka’s Soda Fountain and extend down to a point in front of Greenridge Realty.  The project will entail removal and replacement of the sinking curb, as well as replacing  a twelve foot wide section of asphalt to bring the area back up to grade.

Approximate Timeline

Curb and asphalt removals: May 9 –11

New concrete curbing poured: May 13

Asphalt paving  and re-painting: Week of May 16
