City of Newaygo issued the following announcement on Feb 7.
Public Notice: Just a quick reminder that City of Newaygo (residents/or property owners who have property within the City) 2021 Winter Taxes are due on, or by 4:00 pm on Monday, February 14th.
On February 15th, additional fees will be applied. Both 2021 Summer and Winter taxes can be accepted at City Hall until Monday, February 28th at 4:00 pm. On Tuesday, March 1st they are turned over to the Newaygo County Treasurer's Office. If you are wondering if you have any 2021 taxes due, please do not hesitate to contact the City Treasurer at 231.652.1657; then press * 222 and #.
The City does have a drop box located by the double doors off the back parking lot but please make sure to walk your payment in if paying on the 14th and as always, please do not leave cash. Thank you!
