Hesperia Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Our physics students investigated the “Physics of Bowling” yesterday afternoon. They collected velocity information using a motion detector, found the circumference of the ball, and enjoyed the normalcy of an everyday field trip. Mrs. Sherburn said, “Back at school they’ll use their data to calculate problems involving force, momentum, and moment of inertia.”
Thanks to Fremont Lanes for the behind the scenes tour!
