Chippewa Hills School District recently issued the following announcement Jan 4.
While we are aware that the CDC has made adjustments to the COVID protocols (i.e. quarantine and isolation days), MDHHS and DHD 10 have notified us that schools are special populations under the guidance offered and the new recommendations do not apply. Therefore, our current protocols for quarantines and isolation due to contraction or exposure to the COVID remain in place. Should this change, we will notify all families so they are aware but that is not the case at this time. Please note that the information regarding the CDC's changes are for the general population and do not apply to the school setting.
