City of Montague issued the following announcement on Nov 25.
Training Grant for Area Manufacturers
The U.S. Department of Labor's One Workforce Grant is available to recruit and retain the manufacturing workforce. Funding opportunities:
* upskills for entry-level workers via technical classes and apprenticeships at Muskegon Community College
* training for others looking to join the workforce -- once training is complete, they are eligible to attend a hiring event with local manufacturing companies.
