Mason County Eastern Schools issued the following announcement on Oct 22.
Once again this year the KickStart to Career program is helping students save for their future. This program provides seed money for MCE kindergarten students to open a bank account. It also provides money for students in first and second grade who have had bank accounts opened for them in past years. If your student in grade 1-2 is new to MCE this year, an account will be opened for him or her as well.
On November 10, all K-2 students at MCE can bring money from home and make a deposit while a representative from the Kickstart program is here. There is also a link to the KickStart to career website that contains many more details about this great program.
