Census Bureau: More men than women in New Era in 2019

Of the 472 people living in New Era in 2019, 49.8 percent (235) were women and 50.2 percent (237) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Central Michigan News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 126-to-121. In the 65 and over age range, there were 58 females and 54 males.
