Michigan Works! West Central issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Simonds International is looking for qualified machine operators to join their team in Big Rapids.
Applicants must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift. Machine operators will train on a variety of machines. Experience with any of the following would be helpful: grinders (flats, edges and bevels), heat treating, milling, and cnc operation. Knowledge of how to accurately read calipers, micrometers and depth gauges is a must.
