River Country Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.
Open House at River Country Chamber
Please join us for an Open House!
As you may know, Denise Anderson retired in January from her position as Events Coordinator at The River Country Chamber of Commerce. We are planning an Open House on Friday, February 28th from 3pm-6pm, to thank Denise and honor her for her years of service, and I hope to see you there.
While we will all miss Denise, I am happy to introduce two new, part-time additions to our staff.
Rachael Peterlein has resided in Newaygo since 2003, and during that time she has been very involved with Newaygo Public Schools, most recently working there as a para-professional.
Jennifer Koopman is also a Newaygo County transplant after moving to Grant nearly 10 years ago when her husband returned to his hometown. Their daughter, Madison, is currently a Senior at Grant High School.
Rachel and Jennifer will each be responsible for specific Chamber events, and the three of us will work together on others. They will also share duties of managing the reception desk at The Stream, as per our contract with the City of Newaygo.
