On Sunday, May 4, former Reed City High School standout Max Hammond’s current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Michigan Broncos.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their third matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at 5 p.m. at Ray Fisher Baseball Stadium against Michigan Wolverines.
