Masons Nest
Hello, MCE Families!
My name is Katelynn Andersen, coordinator of Masons Nest. Masons Nest is a program exclusively for MCE families who need childcare after school hours. It runs from 3:10 pm – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with a rate of $5 per hour per child. At Mason Nest we provide an afterschool snack and a combination of indoor and outdoor play during the time your child is in my care.
A little about me: I graduated from MCE in 2013 and continued my education at West Shore Community College where I earned my Associates degree in 2014. I then worked at Shoreline Elementary in Whitehall, MI as a preschool paraprofessional in addition to running the school’s before and after school program for a few years until I had children of my own. I have since been a stay-at-home mom but am eager for the opportunity to provide excellent childcare to our MCE families!
